Before you commit
You carry everything
Shelter, cooking, tools, spares, and enough water to reach the next town. Typically 10–15 kg on the bike before water.
There is no van
If you stop, the group stops or the group goes on. Agree which before you leave, and mean it.
You fix your own bike
Learn the basics before you go: a puncture, a broken chain, a loose bolt. Ask us and we'll show you.
Weather decides
Routes change. In the monsoon, days get shortened or abandoned. Don't book anything tight for the last evening.
Ask about Cameron Highlands.
Tell us what you've ridden before, and we'll be honest about the fit.
